Today we will talk about what trading is and the types of traders that exist in the market. Trading is simply the process of buying or selling financial assets in a temporary space. We can differentiate five types of traders based on the time space in which they usually operate.

Read moreToday we will talk about what trading is and the types of traders that exist in the market. Trading is simply the process of buying or selling financial assets in a temporary space. We can differentiate five types of traders based on the time space in which they usually operate.
Scalpers are traders who make trades that can last seconds, minutes and in some cases up to 25 minutes, but not much longer.
Day traders are traders who make operations and close them on the same day.
The third type are swing traders. They are traders who operate days or weeks so that the trend can take all the routes.
Medium-term traders are those who operate for months, leaving open trades for up to 9 months.
Finally, there are the long-term traders, it means that we open a trade today and maybe we will close it in 7.8, 9 or 10 years.
The time or temporary space that you are going to use to operate is the one that will define the type of trader you are, from the scalper that operates in minutes, or you can even make operations that do not reach a minute, the long-term that they are traders who trade for years. Now that you know what trading is, remember as David Galán says, "There are two types of traders, those who have a method and manage their risk and those who go bankrupt."
